TulsaCal legal
Terms of Service
Effective August 1, 2026
The short version
TulsaCal helps people discover events and verify them against original sources. Event details can change. Check the linked organizer or venue before traveling, purchasing tickets, or relying on an event's status.
Acceptance
These Terms govern use of the TulsaCal website, event data, calendar feeds, builder, embeds, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
TulsaCal compiles event facts from venues, organizers, institutions, public agencies, ticketing services, and public social sources. It provides source links, freshness information, confidence labels, JSON and iCalendar feeds, filtered calendar views, and embeddable calendars.
TulsaCal is not the event organizer, ticket seller, venue, emergency service, or authoritative source for any third-party event. A listing is not an endorsement, sponsorship, guarantee of availability, or guarantee that the event is safe or suitable.
Accuracy and reliance
Event times, locations, prices, age restrictions, accessibility details, ticket availability, weather plans, and cancellation status may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always verify material details with the linked primary source. You assume responsibility for travel, purchases, attendance, and other decisions made using the Service.
Data, content, and attribution
TulsaCal's compilation of factual event records is offered under CC BY 4.0, unless a page or artifact says otherwise. Attribute reused data as “Event data compiled by TulsaCal; original source: [source].”
Original event descriptions, images, logos, trademarks, and linked content remain subject to their owners' rights and are not relicensed by TulsaCal. Factual information may have different copyright treatment from expressive content. You are responsible for confirming that your use is lawful.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
- Misrepresent TulsaCal data as an official statement from an organizer or venue.
- Remove required attribution from redistributed TulsaCal compilations.
- Interfere with, overload, probe, bypass, or compromise the Service or its security.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, deceptive content, or personal information unlawfully.
- Imply endorsement by TulsaCal, a listed source, or a third-party platform without permission.
Third-party services
The Service links to third-party websites and may interoperate with Meta, calendar providers, Cloudflare, OpenAI, and other services. Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. TulsaCal is not responsible for third-party availability, content, transactions, or conduct.
Changes and availability
TulsaCal may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, sources, feeds, or access at any time. These Terms may be updated when the Service or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TulsaCal and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, travel costs, ticket costs, or losses arising from an event change or cancellation. TulsaCal's aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid TulsaCal for the Service during the preceding 12 months; for free use, that amount is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow all such limitations, so they apply only to the extent permitted.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
