User Data Deletion
Effective August 1, 2026
No TulsaCal account is required
The public TulsaCal website does not create user accounts. This process is for people or organizations whose Facebook Page or professional Instagram account was connected to the private TulsaCal Meta integration, or whose personal information appears in retained source evidence.
1. Stop future Meta access
You can remove TulsaCal from the connected account:
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find TulsaCal, and select Remove. Meta's current instructions are in the Facebook Help Center.
- On Instagram, open Settings → Website permissions → Apps and Websites → Active, then remove TulsaCal. See the Instagram-connected-app instructions.
Removing the connection prevents future access to non-public account data. Meta notes that removal does not automatically delete information an app previously received, so complete the next step as well.
2. Request deletion from TulsaCal
The monitored deletion-request inbox is not configured yet. This draft process must not be treated as an active request channel.
- Your professional Instagram username or Facebook Page name.
- The relevant profile, post, event, or source URL.
- A short description of what you want deleted or corrected.
- An email address where TulsaCal can confirm completion.
Do not send a password, access token, browser cookie, government ID, or unrelated personal information. TulsaCal may ask for a limited verification step to prevent an unauthorized person from deleting another account's data.
3. What happens next
TulsaCal aims to acknowledge a request within 10 business days and complete a verified request within 30 days. More time may be required when permitted by applicable law; if so, TulsaCal will explain the delay.
A verified request may result in:
- Revoking and deleting the related Meta access token and connection metadata.
- Deleting retained working copies of posts, comments, or media under TulsaCal's control.
- Removing or redacting personal information from intake records, observations, or evidence summaries.
- Retaining non-personal public event facts, integrity hashes, or records required by law, security, or dispute-resolution needs.
TulsaCal cannot delete the original content from Facebook, Instagram, an organizer's website, or another third-party source. You must contact that source or platform separately.
